Presentation topics included: In Search of Excellence: Benchmarking Turnaround Outcomes and Practices Using the industry’s largest turnaround database, this presentation covered: Industry performance trends Leading indicators and how they drive performance Benchmarking scope performance Mega Turnarounds: Understanding Your Site’s Execution Capability When is a turnaround too big to manage? A detailed overview of a recent AP-Canada-sponsored study that look at the impact of size and complexity on turnaround outcomes, labor productivity, safety, and answer the question: Is there a tipping point (e.g., man-hours, capital scope, equipment) where turnarounds become unmanageable? Integration in Capital Intensive Turnarounds This presentation discussed best practices for achieving the successful integration of capital project scope and achieving execution success. The concept of an integration index measurement and associated outcomes was also covered. Plans are now being put together for TINC Canada 2014.
