NaviTrack is a work process deployment tool created by Asset Performance Networks, and is part of the company’s licensable suite of web-based turnaround management tools known as the Turnaround Network. KNPC’s adoption of NaviTrack comes as the company looks to strengthen both cost and schedule performance, and achieve greater predictability in their turnaround outcomes. On April 23rd and 24th, AP-Networks Senior Consultant Mr. Leon van Hout visited the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery in Kuwait to administer NaviTrack training. In the course of two days, more than 120 KNPC employees received training on the tool, as well as on other aspects of the Turnaround Network including the Turnaround Readiness Pyramid and the Risk Manager—a schedule and cost benchmarking tool. Mr. Ahmad Al-Khaldi, Reliability Team Leader at the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery, opened the training program by discussing the ways in which NaviTrack facilitates following up on different turnaround jobs and procedures smoothly to achieve the best possible results in terms of completing comprehensive maintenance according to an assigned duration and budget. KNPC’s Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery joins nearly 200 other refineries worldwide that currently make use of AP-Networks’ NaviTrack tool.
