He is a high-performing, results-driven leader with more than 30 years of experience spanning the oil & gas and manufacturing industries. In his current role, Tony shares responsibility for the development and growth of the company’s presence in Australia and New Zealand. Over the course of his career, Tony has honed his ability to understand and improve the business drivers that lead to performance improvements. He has a proven track record of developing highly motivated teams that deliver tangible results.Prior to joining AP-Networks, AP, Tony worked for BP in various management roles, including Global Turnaround Advisor. In this role, he managed the Turnaround Managers Network, which spanned 18 oil refineries across the globe. Tony undertook several actions to strengthen the network as a whole, instituting systems that facilitated knowledge sharing. These systems helped ensure that lessons were captured, best practices were shared, and individuals received the training and experience needed to become BP turnaround managers.Tony’s efforts led to a dramatic improvement in the BP refining network. Over the course of three years, turnaround performance went from an average cost overrun of 23 percent and an average schedule overrun of 26 percent to within one percent of cost targets and two percent of schedule targets. Tony also developed the initial Turnaround Common Value Process (TAR CVP) within BP, which has evolved to be known internationally within BP as the Turnaround Common Process (TCP).Tony has held roles in engineering, maintenance, projects, and procurement supply chain, and has gained a wealth of experience in project management, turnaround/shutdown management, maintenance management, and procurement management. He holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Mechanical Engineering from Curtin University in Perth, Australia.
