Over the course of three years, turnaround performance went from an average cost overrun of 23 percent and an average schedule overrun of 26 percent to within one percent of cost targets and two percent of schedule targets. Tony also developed the initial Turnaround Common Value Process (TAR CVP) within BP, which has evolved to be known internationally within BP as the Turnaround Common Process (TCP). Tony has held roles in engineering, maintenance, projects, and procurement supply chain, and has gained a wealth of experience in project management, turnaround/shutdown management, maintenance management, and procurement management. He holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Mechanical Engineering from Curtin University in Perth, Australia.
