February 24, 2025 by Deputy Managing Director - EMEA Renske Ruben is the Deputy Manager, EMEA for Asset Performance Networks, based in the company’s Amsterdam office. With an accomplished background in Turnaround execution and Capital Project management, she brings extensive experience to her current role. Originally from Québec, Canada, Renske is fluent in English, French, and Dutch, a valuable asset in supporting multinational clients. Throughout her career with AP-Networks, Renske has led numerous assurance and benchmarking initiatives for clients across the globe, focusing on Turnarounds and Major Projects. Her work has helped organizations enhance their performance in cost, schedule and operability, and mature their processes by implementing best practices and reducing risks. She has also directed Corporate Governance and Work Process development programs, including training teams for successful implementation within their sites. Before joining AP-Networks, Renske spent 10 years at ExxonMobil and Imperial Oil in various maintenance and project roles. She began as Project Manager for Small Capital Projects, later taking on engineering and commissioning responsibilities in Major Capital Projects. She gained significant expertise managing multidisciplinary teams in Turnaround and maintenance execution roles at refineries across Canada and Europe, always prioritizing safety, quality, and timely delivery. Her final role at ExxonMobil focused on maintaining and improving onsite infrastructure, overseeing budgets, managing a project portfolio, and defining scope for Turnarounds and routine maintenance. Renske holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada.
