September 24, 2021 by Managing Director, USA John Camp is the Managing Director, USA for Asset Performance Networks, based out of the company’s office in Houston, TX. John joined the company after serving as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy, where he gained experience leading teams, operating complex engineering plants, and developing innovative and efficient processes to increase readiness.As a part of AP-Networks, John has worked with client teams to drive home the importance of a detailed work process and an effective steering team. He has executed numerous Turnaround Assist Programs (T-AP), Integrated Turnaround Assist Programs (iT-AP), and Risk Based Scope Reviews (RBSR). Additionally, he has taken part in work process customization and steering team training.As Electrical Officer aboard the USS Gonzalez, John led a team of sailors in the maintenance and operation of the ship’s 60Hz electrical distribution system, including a five month intensive overhaul of the system during a planned maintenance availability. His efforts led to a 100 percent compliant electrical safety system with zero reportable incidents during his time aboard. As Navigator on the USS Anzio, John was responsible for the safe steaming of over 50,000 nautical miles during a seven month counter piracy deployment to the Horn of Africa. Ashore, as the Scheduling Officer for Military Sealift Command, John scheduled maintenance and training for the Navy’s Logistics Fleet, leading to a 10 percent increase in operational readiness.John holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
