His presentation, titled “A Journey to Offshore Shutdown Excellence,” will focus on how to optimize offshore shutdowns and achieve competitive, predictable outcomes. Offshore turnaround outcomes are impacted by numerous factors with varying degrees of controllability. Based on quantitative data collected from more than 100 recent offshore turnarounds, John will examine drivers of offshore turnaround performance (Key Leading Indicators), and quantify their effect on outcomes. He will also introduce the offshore Turnaround Readiness Index (TRI) and explore its relationship to both outcomes and the concept of a standardized offshore turnaround work process. Additionally, John will share benchmarks related to offshore turnaround best practices. John heads up AP-Networks’ European office, located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, leading the employees there in their work serving countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He has been integral in expanding the presence of AP-Networks in each of these areas, and consequently, for growing AP-Networks’ European consulting staff.
