Joint Industry Research Studies Launched by AP-Networks

The Asset Performance Networks Benchmark Research Initiative, which gives clients the opportunity to guide the company’s research efforts, is actively seeking sponsors

Asset Performance Networks (AP-Networks) recently announced a joint Industry Benchmark Research Initiative to provide owner companies with the unique opportunity to help guide the company’s research into solving challenging, impactful problems. The research topics were selected based on a unique survey of Industry turnaround professionals, who offered their input on the challenges facing Industry today.

The Benchmark Research Initiative gives Industry leaders a direct line to the AP-Networks Research, Benchmarking, and Predictive Analytics team. Launched at TINC America 2018, and bolstered by input from attendees to subsequent TINC events, the initiative offers a real-time look into the minds of turnaround leaders across the globe and the challenges they’re focused on. Based on their contributions, AP-Networks commissioned joint Industry steering committees for research studies into the three most pressing issues:

• Benchmarking Field Labor Productivity – Prospectus Available 
• Understanding and Improving Early Estimating Practices – Prospectus Available 
• Leveraging Innovative Technologies – Prospectus Available 

These steering committees have met and contributed their insights on the most important aspects within each research area. The committees included turnaround team members from Celanese, Chevon, Delek, Enbridge, HollyFrontier, LyondellBasell, Suncor, and more. A prospectus is being prepared for each of the three studies. These will be distributed to Industry in the coming weeks as AP-Networks assembles study participants.
