About the Job Role: Job Title: Data Connectivity Manager Location: Bethesda, MD Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: As a Data Connectivity Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing data connectivity between our company and our clients. You will identify candidate clients, research and understand their data architecture, and assemble specification documents and data models that bridge client data and AP-Networks data requirements. Your role will involve collaborating with various internal teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs. Key Responsibilities: Manage data connectivity between AP-Networks and its clients, convincing clients to go ahead and ensuring data integrity and security. Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions. Monitor and report data connectivity issues to technical support. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations. Document data connectivity processes and procedures. Provide first level technical support and guidance to clients regarding data connectivity. Requirements: This role is primarily technical but also heavily client-facing. The ideal candidate must excel in communication, relationship building, and serving as a trusted advisor to our clients. Success in this position requires the ability to effectively persuade client stakeholders—including IT and Database professionals, third-party individuals, IT Security, Legal, and Operations professionals—to approve and support the proposed data pipeline. Therefore, strong skills in diplomacy, salesmanship, and persistent follow-up are essential. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proven experience in designing and implementing data transfer APIs. Strong knowledge of data connectivity protocols and technologies, specifically in the Oil/Gas/Chemical/Construction industries (Primavera, Prometheus etc.). Experience with data security and privacy regulations. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Experience with SAP, and its related API and data pipelines is a big plus. Experience with industrial maintenance databases is a big plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with API management tools. Experience with cloud-based data connectivity solutions. Knowledge of data integration tools and platforms.
