Since 2014, Dan has helped to evolve AP-Networks’ offering of project and turnaround consulting tools and services, and has played an integral role in helping to strengthen the company’s position in the capital project consulting space. Managing Directors George DeBakey and Brett Schroeder wish Dan good health, comfortable wealth, exciting trips, and all the happiness in the world in his retirement. Offering his thoughts on Dan’s incredible career, George had this to say: “Dan’s project experience is second to none. Over a cup of coffee, and a friendly conversation with the right people, he finds the hidden critical risks in any major project while the analysts are going through a plethora of project documents and analyzing massive reams of data. He is one-of-a-kind. He will be truly missed. He is a very good friend and I hope to continue to get to see him between his seafaring jaunts.” Dan possesses more than 35 years of diverse experience consulting on project management issues, including time spent as Head of Projects for multiple streams at Amoco and BP. Prior to joining AP-Networks, Dan worked extensively throughout the energy sector, where he held various roles in engineering, operations, maintenance, major capital projects, and corporate leadership. He has managed complex turnarounds, restart projects, major revamp-intensive facility upgrade projects, and high-margin, schedule-driven projects. He has also supported global continuous improvement efforts for capital projects.Dan is a Registered Professional Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla.
