December 15, 2014 by AP-Networks Leave a Comment Bethesda, Maryland, December 15th, 2014 — This month, Asset Performance Canada (AP-Canada) and Asset Performance Networks (AP-Networks) finalized the agendas for their upcoming Turnaround Industry Network Conferences (TINC). TINC is an annual conference series put on by AP-Canada and AP-Networks to discuss best practices in the turnaround industry. In addition to presentations from AP-Canada and AP-Networks consultants, the upcoming conferences will feature speakers from Agrium, Bayer MaterialScience, BG Group, BP, Cabinda Gulf Oil Company, Cenovus Energy, and HPCL-Mittal Energy Ltd. Entering into its thirteenth year, TINC is the industry’s premier turnaround symposium. The first TINC event was held in Houston, Texas in 2003. Since then, the conference has evolved into TINC America, and spun off two additional conferences in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The most recent TINC America conference, which took place in September, was the largest to date and boasted attendees from nine countries, more than 30 companies, and over 75 facilities. TINC attendance is limited strictly to owner operators, and features participants from dozens of leading upstream, refining, chemical, and power companies. The event was started by AP-Networks in order to facilitate conversations between industry professionals in an effort to share common experiences and gain insight into successful turnaround practices. Enforced by a strict non-disclosure agreement, this emphasis on shared experience is still the hallmark of every TINC event, and has led to an increased knowledge base in the turnaround industry. AP-Canada’s TINC Canada 2015 will take place January 20th – 21st, 2015, while AP-Networks’ TINC Europe 2015 will take place March 25th – 26th, 2015. Attendance is still open for both conferences, and interested parties can find more information at www.tincconference.com.
