Ken Campbell is a Subject Matter Expert with Asset Performance Networks, specializing in turnaround assessment and risk based scope review. He possesses over 33 years of experience planning, scheduling, and leading operational & maintenance resources in the petrochemical industry and the United States Air Force. Ken is a recognized industry expert in turnaround assessment and turnaround risk based work scope review.

Throughout his time with AP-Networks, Ken has executed Turnaround Assist Programs (T-AP) and Risk Based Scope Reviews (RBSR) for leading oil & gas companies. He has also executed Experience Augmentations (EA), drawing upon his considerable industry knowledge to provide tailored recommendations for turnaround maintenance and routine maintenance planning.

Prior to joining AP-Networks, Ken worked as a consultant with Shell Global Solutions for 7 years, where he provided global consultancy on turnaround optimization. Before that, he was a direct hire employee within the manufacturing departments of Shell Oil for 20 years. During his career with Shell, Ken fulfilled various technical and management refinery roles, including work in unit operations, unit startup planning and commissioning, manufacturing site turnaround planning, operations supervision, and all facets of turnaround preparation and management.

In the U.S. Air Force, Ken served as a flight navigator and flight crew resource planner in the military aircraft commands, and as a senior flight planner for the 22nd Air Force at Travis AFB. His responsibilities in the Air Force included planning and coordination of all military aircraft command flights for the western half of the world.

Ken holds a bachelor’s degree from Otterbein College. He is a graduate of the USAF Flight Navigator School, and possesses several other Air Force qualifications.
