Clayton Parsons is a Consultant with Asset Performance Networks, based out of the company’s office in Houston, Texas. Clayton joined the company after serving as an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army, where he gained extensive experience developing, optimizing, and executing operational plans for large-scale operations. Clayton earned numerous commendations throughout his time in the Army, and was consistently ranked within the top five percent of peer Army leadership personnel.

Prior to joining AP-Networks, Clayton was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC and Fort Hood, TX, where he deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. During his most recent tour, Clayton supported operations for a 6,350-person combined joint task force operating in Iraq and Syria. In this role, he synchronized operational reports from several dozen engineering units spanning multiple areas of operations, creating a single, cohesive operating picture.

Clayton possesses significant experience leading maintenance efforts. In an earlier role, he was in charge of the maintenance of $21 million of assets. In this role, he devised and led implementation of a new maintenance program that increased readiness by 40 percent. This involved identifying excess assets, overcoming resource shortages, and enhancing overall efficiency. Clayton also led a nine-person team responsible for the maintenance of $40 million of assets. In this role, he devised systems that revitalized a malfunctioning maintenance program, resulting in an increase in troop readiness from 40 percent to 90 percent.

Clayton holds a master’s degree in Engineering Management and a certificate in Project Management from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
