Brian Riggs is an Analyst with the Asset Performance Networks Benchmarking and Data Services group, based out of the company’s office in Bethesda, MD. He serves as a Research Project Leader for the group. Brian leverages a background in project management, system engineering, and analytics. In his current role, he works to maintain AP-Networks’ tools and statistical models. He also plays a pivotal role in guiding the company’s ongoing research initiatives.
Prior to joining AP-Networks, Brian was engaged as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Engineering and Engineering Physics at Tulane University. During his time at Tulane University, he was involved in several strategic research projects, and led an integration team for a novel heat and power generation technology. Through the use of techno-economic modeling, Brian was able to leverage geographic, market, and technical parameters to determine cost-competitiveness and evaluate the business potential for this technology.
Brian holds a Ph.D. in Physics and Engineering Physics from Tulane University, as well as a Master of Engineering in Material Science and Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
