Preem, the largest fuel company in Sweden, has licensed the Turnaround Network to strengthen turnaround planning and performance across the organization.

February 2019

Bethesda, MD – Preem’s refineries in Gothenburg and Lysekil join sites throughout Europe that license the Asset Performance Networks (AP-Networks) Turnaround Network, a web-based software suite that contains industry-leading tools for turnaround planning and management. Working with AP-Networks, Preem has taken strides to improve the competitiveness and predictability of their turnarounds. The Turnaround Network license marks the next step in Preem’s efforts to achieve industry-leading turnaround results.

AP-Networks worked with Preem to develop a custom turnaround work process. This work process has been loaded into NaviTrack, the industry-standard work process deployment tool housed within the Turnaround Network. Preem’s custom turnaround work process is available in both Swedish and English, and employees can toggle between the two languages at will. The use of NaviTrack will enable both the Gothenburg and Lysekil refineries to improve compliance, assurance, communication, and standardization, and drive discipline throughout the organization.

Companies the world over rely on NaviTrack and the Turnaround Network to improve turnaround readiness, the primary indicator of turnaround success. Through global Turnaround Network licenses, Industry leaders like Yara and Shell have made use of the AP-Networks Software Toolset part of their standard practice in order to strengthen their pursuit of predictable, competitive turnaround outcomes.
