Whether a billion dollar megaproject or a routine turnaround, risks exist that must be managed and mitigated. AP-Networks' Independent Project Risk Workshop helps project and turnaround teams identify and manage their risks in a more pro-active and systematic fashion. Recent trends have only magnified the importance of strategic risk management during the life cycle of a project or turnaround. Our experienced consultants work closely with the project and turnaround teams at all planning and preparation stages to identify and mitigate the major risks that can threaten the original goals and objectives. The Independent Project Risk Workshop typically begins with AP-Networks facilitating a risk brainstorming session that includes all key functional groups from the project or turnaround team. AP-Networks’ senior consultants help facilitate the conversation by using our proprietary database of project and turnaround risks. Once the risks are identified, a scoring system is established to rate both the severity of the risk and the likelihood of it occurring. Risk owners are then assigned and response plans defined for the most severe risks. Through the use of AP-Networks’ proprietary risk management tool, PYXIS, a risk register containing the details of each individual risk and associated action plans are provided to the project or turnaround team.
