TINC 2009

THE CONFERENCE

The Turnaround Industry Network Conference (TINC) is the premier turnaround symposium to share best practices proven to deliver safe, event-free, and predictable turnaround outcomes. TINC is an invitation-only conference for owner operators, and is the only forum exclusively for turnaround professionals.

Sponsored by Asset Performance Networks, TINC is organized by a steering committee comprised of 12 owner-operator companies. It is governed by a strict code of conduct to ensure compliance with antitrust laws.

TINC is where you come to sharpen your saw, and compare your performance to pacesetters in the industry.

"TINC continues to be our preferred conference for exchanging turnaround best practices..."

THE PROGRAM

This year's program will feature three executives from Chevron, Shell, and Hovensa as keynote speakers, and according to Brett Schroeder, AP-Networks Managing Director “we are honored and proud to have two executives from the super-majors and one from one of the largest refineries in the Western hemisphere keynote TINC. It speaks volumes about the critical importance of turnaround management to the industries we serve.â€

The program will also include a quantitative benchmarking analysis of turnaround practices. Companies with data in the Turnaround-Network portal will be able to compare their practices to the practices of their peers, while others will benefit from an understanding of what separates top quartile performance from industry norms. The conference covers proven practices in the following areas: management involvement, steering team effectiveness, turnaround governance, continuous planning, planning practices, safety and environmental management, LOTO and permitting, systemization and turnover, and integration of capital projects. In addition, the conference will conclude with an expert panel discussion covering the full range of turnaround execution challenges.
