THE CONFERENCE

tnc1981The 2007 Turnaround Industry Network Conference (TINC) will be held on June 18-20 at South Shore Harbour Conference Center in League City, Texas. TINC is the industry's premier conference for turnaround professionals, and is a forum to share best practices proven to deliver safe, event-free, and predictable turnaround outcomes.  

TINC is an owners-only conference, and is the industry’s only forum exclusively for Turnaround Professionals. Typical attendees include those involved in sponsoring, managing, or actively implementing the preparation and execution of turnarounds or turnaround projects.

THE PROGRAM


The theme for TINC 2007 is “The Continuum of Turnaround Excellence."  In addition to a number of structured breakout sessions, turnaround leaders from Air Liquide, ConocoPhillips, Flint Hills, Lyondell, Shell, Tesoro, and Valero will be presenting the following topics:
  • An overview of the use of leading indicators to assist with overall turnaround Safety Management.
  • Comprehensive system turnover and acceptance.
  • Continuous turnaround planning to enhance planning efficiency and precision of early estimating.
  • Insights and first-hand experiences using scope challenge tools and processes.
  • Making the turnaround a refinery event, and aligning all plant personnel on high complexity turnarounds. 
  • Overcoming the challenge of integrating capital projects and turnarounds.
  • Overview of the industry’s turnaround contracting trends, including challenges, approaches, and data trends. AP-Networks will also demo the next generation of web-based tools for predicting, managing, and driving superior capital project and turnaround performance.

tnc1853This year’s breakout sessions include industry best practice discussions on Safety Planning, Contracting Trends, System Acceptance and Turnover, Turnaround Planning, Scheduling and Preparation, Scope Development, Operations and Capital Projects Integration. Due to overwhelming positive feedback from TINC 2006, this year’s conference will once again include an updated inventory of industry best practices; giving each attending company the opportunity to compare their organization against the latest industry standards.
