Major Enhancements to NaviTrackTM Released
Bethesda, Maryland, October 15th, 2009 — AP-Networks is pleased to announce the latest release of NaviTrack. NaviTrack is the first web-based tool that generates preparation plans and provides best practices to every project or turnaround professional in the organization. The latest release includes a series of enhancements targeted at improving functionality, reporting, and administration. The following enhancements were made:
- New functionality with multi-block capability for turnarounds
- New reports for Owner, Steering Team, and Core Team
- Improved tool administration features
Multi-block Capability - Often time turnarounds can have several different blocks or units being shutdown during a single event. When creating a new turnaround, the user now has the ability to set up multiple blocks. In addition to the event wide activities this will create an independent activity set (on predetermined activities) for each block or unit.
New Reports – AP-Networks has added several new reports aimed at giving NaviTrack users more insight when it comes to the progression of activities in a turnaround. The first set of reports is designed to show activity progress at the individual or functional group level. The second set of reports was created for the Steering Team. These reports breakdown data to give management a holistic view of the overall turnaround. The last set of reports presents activity progress at the Core Team level. These reports are available for multi-block turnarounds allowing a user to understand the level of planning preparation from a Block/Core Team perspective.
Administration Capabilities – A number of enhancements have been added to improve ease of use for tool administrators in terms of user management, security settings, and e-mail notification.
