Turnaround Industry Network Conference - Europe

The Turnaround Industry Network Conference (TINC) is the premier turnaround symposium to share best practices proven to deliver safe, event-free, and predictable turnaround outcomes. TINC is an invitation-only conference for owner-operators, and is the only forum exclusively for turnaround professionals. TINC is sponsored by Asset Performance Networks, and is organized by a steering committee. It is governed by a strict code of conduct to ensure compliance with antitrust laws.

This year, TINC Europe 2011 was held on March 31^st - April 1^st, 2011 at the charming and 5-stars rated - NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, Dam 9, 1012 JS Amsterdam, Netherlands. It featured Owner Company Executives and Managers (from Shell, Chevron, BP, and others) presenting each day of the conference. It also featured a quantitative benchmarking analysis of turnaround performance and practices. TINC Europe 2011 had four distinct breakout session tracks for participants to gain insight into emerging best practices in turnaround planning and execution that lead to improved performance, including offshore turnarounds. Calgary, AB, January 2011 — Asset Performance Canada, represented by John Crager, Regional Manager, will be presenting at the Canadian Institute's Annual Plant Maintenance & Asset Management Conference in Alberta, Canada in February. Mr. Crager will be presenting a poster discussing how reliability and productivity changes throughout an asset's lifecycle. His presentation will cover best practices to monitor, record, and analyze performance indicators and scheduled maintenance in accordance with changing conditions. Mr. Crager will identify how to reduce unnecessary expenditure by building appropriate maintenance levels into your schedule and optimizing major repair and refurbishment intervals.

9^th Annual Shutdowns Superconference - December 7-8, Calgary, Alberta

Bethesda, Maryland, November 2010 — Asset Performance Networks, represented by John Crager, Territory Manager - Canada/Senior Consultant and Larry Robey, Senior Consultant, will be attending the 9^th Annual Shutdowns Superconference in Calgary, Alberta in early December. The conference event is organized and produced by The Canadian Institute. This will be the third year AP-Networks will be attending and exhibiting.

The Shutdowns Superconference brings together Shutdown, Turnaround and Outage professionals from all over Canada and across the globe to discuss current challenges, feasible solutions, critical forecasts and new approaches. This unique conference provides a forum for delegates and speakers with a wide range of Shutdown, Turnaround and Outage interests from a variety of industries including Oil & Gas, Oil Sands, Power, Petrochemicals, Pulp & Paper and Mining.

In addition, for the second year, Mr. Crager will be part of the distinguished faculty and will be presenting a significant industry study on turnaround performance benchmarks. The presentation, titled "Turnaround Performance Benchmarks - Understanding the Practices That Drive Superior Outcomes" is a study based on analysis of AP-Networks' proprietary turnaround database. AP-Networks' database contains a myriad of information collected over the firm's history from over 800 event observations drawn from the refining and chemical industries. The analysis will identify relative performance levels and what constitutes best-in-class. Importantly, the presentation will identify the causal factors behind turnaround success and failure and highlight the factors that drive superior outcomes.
