Consultant
Ryan Hilley is a consultant in AP-Networks’ headquarter office in Bethesda, Maryland. Mr. Hilley shares in the responsibilities of both conducting consulting engagements as well as the advancement of strategic business initiatives for the company. As an AP-Networks employee, Mr. Hilley has worked with several of the world’s most prominent energy companies involving large projects with over $100 million in capital expenditures. This work includes assessing overall project viability as well as developing methodologies for identifying and managing enterprise wide risks that threaten key project metrics. Beyond large project assessments, Mr. Hilley works in a business development capacity to market and expand AP-Networks’ overall business with particular focus on the company’s risk management practice.
Mr. Hilley began his professional career working on an equity trading desk for Thomas Weisel Partners, a San Francisco based investment bank. Mr. Hilley then moved to FINRA (formerly National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD)), working as an auditor/consultant to assist various financial institutions in the implementation of regulatory statues pertaining to trading, investment banking, and accounting practices. Mr. Hilley has worked with many of the world’s largest banks and financial institutions which allow him to bring a unique economic and financial risk perspective to AP-Networks.
Mr. Hilley earned his BA in economics and political science from Middlebury College and his MBA in General Management from Georgetown University. In addition, Mr. Hilley is a certified Energy Risk Professional (ERP), a certification sponsored by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
