Subject Matter Expert – Planning and Scheduling
John A. Hunter 

John is based in our Houston office and has thirty plus years experience in project controls working in nineteen countries around the world. A specialist in planning and scheduling, he has concentrated on building teams to implement state-of-the-art techniques from early engineering and design through construction, commissioning, and startup. His experience covers both upstream and downstream within the oil and gas, petrochemicals, LNG, and power industries.

Prior to joining AP-Networks, John had worked with M.W. Kellogg for more than twenty years as a Principal Planning Engineer. He later started his own consultancy business working continuously full-time with ExxonMobil for ten years on multiple assignments. In addition to performing numerous ‘Cold Eyes’ performance evaluation reviews, John focuses on helping project and turnaround teams identify, establish and implement realistic plans and then facilitates their achieving them via coaching and hands-on mentoring.

John graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Business Organization from Heriot Watt University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
